My research focuses on how local adaptation, phenotypic plasticity, and habitat fragmentation interact to shape plant resilience in a rapidly changing world, with a particular focus on Mediterranean wild plants. To understand these complex dynamics, my work combines field ecology, common-garden experiments, and genomics. I hold a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Naples Federico II (Italy) and am currently a Postdoctoral researcher at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid). I was recently awarded the L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Award, which will allow me to lead a new project exploring how flowering plants cope with rapid shifts in their interacting insect communities.
