Predoctoral researcher with an interest in plant evolution and Mediterranean biogeography. I hold a BSc in Biology from the University of Extremadura and an MSc in Biology and Biodiversity Conservation from the University of Salamanca. I have experience in species distribution modelling and wetland flora surveys. My current research focuses on the genus Erodium and Cantoloma, where I apply comparative phylogenetic and genetic approaches to explore diversification processes, evolutionary radiations, and correlations between habitats and adaptive traits, with particular emphasis on rocky habitats. My main goal is to understand how topography, climate and evolutionary history shape patterns of endemism in the Mediterranean.
