I studied Biology in Athens and completed a Master’s degree in Ecology in Madrid. I have always been fascinated by plants, especially those that manage to thrive in harsh environments such as deserts, alpine regions, and—most of all—cliffs! I am currently starting my PhD with the Cliff Ecology Group at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC), where I study the functional and evolutionary aspects of cliff plant communities across the Iberian Peninsula. Beyond fieldwork and greenhouse experiments, I am also passionate about participating in educational activities and promoting scientific outreach on environmental issues within local communities, including climbers.
